Personal info:
I've been into music as long as I can remember. When I was a kid I grew up listening to bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Skynyrd. I always knew that’s what I was going to do. Around the same time Mtv came out I found an old acoustic guitar in my Grandmothers basement and started playing along with videos. Eventually when I was a little older I bought my first bass guitar. I originally wanted to buy a guitar so I could play solo's and be a rock & roll superstar, but everyone else I knew seemed to be playing guitar. I decided to take one for the team and play bass so we could form a band. After playing bass for a while I realized I actually liked playing it much better than guitar. Rich was one of my friends from back in the day who had a guitar and we formed our first band together. I started getting into heavier music, in high school I don't think Reign in Blood ever left my walkman. After that I started playing only death/black metal and ended up in a band called Putrid Decay which got pretty big in the scene.
Once that fell apart I played guitar in Eternity Denied, a black metal band I was in with my friend Chris for a while. Guitar wasn't really doing it for me and eventually I decided to "settle down" and stop playing music. It was around then that I realized settling down sucks bigtime. I bought all new bass gear and started playing with some buddies in what would eventually turn into Clip. A lot has happened since then. To say Clip has made it through some troubled times would be a serious understatement. I could go on and on for pages detailing the alcohol-fueled antics of Clip members (past and present), but no need to get anyone in trouble. After going through hell and back were still alive and more brutal than ever.
